It was out with the ski season so there was ample parking at the White Corries Ski Centre in Glen Coe, just off the A82 Tyndrum to Fort William Road. On leaving my car there I walked past the buildings to a sign indicating the footpath which headed uphill below or close to the chairlift. The path was very rough and eroded and the nearby mountain bike trail, which wasn’t in use, looked in better condition but did meander a bit.
At the top of the chairlift I walked along the vehicle tracks to the start of the chairlift in Coire Pollach.
From there I initially followed some fencing before leaving this area and making my way up Meall a’ Bhuiridh crossing some vegetation then higher up boulders which had a light covering of snow. The cairn marking the summit of this Munro was reached and here I took a break.
I then descended Meal a’ Bhuiridh’s south-west ridge, mainly on a path, to reach the col with Creise. The climb onto the south ridge of Creise was a bit steeper with some rocky steps particularly at the top of the climb. Once on the ridge I was into the low cloud, which had been floating around the area, and made the short walk to the cairn marking the summit of the ex-Munro Top, Mam Coire Easain. I then headed north to the Munro, Creise, visiting both cairns although I thought the northerly one may have been the highest.
It was then back to Meall a’ Bhuiridh, by-passing the summit of Mam Coire Easain, where I took another break.
From there I descended to the col with Creag Dhubh and climbed this Sub Simm, visiting a few of the cairns, with views of Buachaille Etive Mor and Rannoch Moor.
A path, muddy and wet in places, led to the path beside/below the chairlift which I used to return to the start.
