From the B8008 at Tougal, located south-west of the village of Morar, walked north-west along the sandy beach on the south side of the River Morar Estuary, this river being one of the shortest in Scotland. Later left the beach, crossed some rocky ground, then it was through rough vegetation to reach the summit of the Tump, Beinn an Achaidh Mhoir. The return was by the approach route.
