South-east of Turriff was Hill of Lendrum. I left my car at the side of the minor road to the north then crossed a gate and grassy field which higher up was rather wet and boggy. The high point of this Tump appeared to be beside the upper stock fence.
I then moved my car to south-west of Turriff leaving it beside North Dorlaithers Farm to the south of the Tump, Braecroft Hill. I then walked up the farm track to Bogside of Muiresk, went round the buildings, entered a field containing sheep to the grassy summit.
The next hill, Hill of Cleftbog, was further south-west. I parked at the side of the B9024 north of the farm track leading to Garble then walked up this track to an obvious right hand bend. Here I left the track, crossed a stubble field, a stream and a barbed wire fence. I then walked up the edge of a field containing a winter crop later using the tram lines to reach an adjoining field of neeps. At the top end of this field I located the trig point.
Parked in a stubble field accessed from a minor road to the south of Forgue and to the north-west of the Tump, Hill of Frendraught then walked east along a vehicle track and into the forest. I later left this track and made the short walk through the trees to the summit trig point.
I then headed west and parked at the start of a vehicle track on the east side of the A97 that led to a couple of houses under construction. I briefly walked east along this track before entering the trees then a stubble field. However went back into the wood as the high point of the Tump, Hill of Cruchie, appeared to be just inside the boundary fence.
West of Forgue and north-west of the previous hill was the Tump, White Hill. I left my vehicle at the road end beside Fourmanhill accessed from a minor road to the north then walked south-west up a vehicle track to a gate then along an old path beside a deer fence. This path was overgrown with gorse and broom so I later left it and headed downhill through rough and tussocky ground to a forest track which was followed to the col between White Hill and Fourman Hill. From there I ascended the former through brash to the summit area which was covered in fallen trees. On the return I avoided the worst of the rough and tussocky vegetation by using some tracks created during forest operations.
