I was heading through Fife en-route to Edinburgh but took a diversion to Lower Largo to climb the Marilyn, Largo Law. I left my vehicle in the car park situated between the school and the cemetery at Kirkton of Largo and followed the signed route to Chesterstone Farm.
Here the route took me round the farm buildings and towards the foot of Largo Law.
It was then a steep climb with a short flatter area to reach the summit of this Marilyn marked by a trig point.
I wandered around the summit area taking in the views of the Firth of Forth and the Lomond Hills. The snow capped hills of Glen Shee were visible as was the North Sea Coast beyond Dundee, possibly as far as Stonehaven.
After a break here I returned by the upward route.
