Beinn a’Bhathaich: Parked at the side of the B862 on the east side of Loch Ness and at the south end of Loch Ceo Glais and initially climbed steeply through gorse bushes then mixed vegetation avoiding the crags. It was then onto the north-east ridge of the Hump, Beinn a’Bhathaich, and to the cairn and its nearby summit. The return was by a more direct route.
Creag Innis an Daimh Dhuibh: Parked on the verge of the B862, south of the unclassified road to Abersky, and opposite the forest track which was followed west. At a junction of tracks I headed back east on the higher track gaining a bit of height. A wide gap in the forest was reached and this was followed to the open hillside and to the summit of this Hump. The return was by the upward route.
Cairn Ardochy: Parked at the entrance to the forest track on the B862 south of the 236 metres high point, and north of the junction with the B851 and walked briefly south before leaving the road and crossing some built up ground. Beyond the walking was difficult across brash and bog. A couple of deer fences were then crossed before commencing the ascent of Cairn Ardochy through heather. On reaching the summit of this Tump I descended to the north of the upward route where there was less heather and lower down not as much bog and brash as I kept closer to the trees that hadn’t yet been harvested.
Torr Shelly: Parked at the junction of the B862 and the B851, crossed a barbed wire fence then some short vegetation to gain the north-east ridge of Torr Shelly and onto the summit of this Tump. The return was by the upward route.
Cnoc Cas-bhearnach: Parked south of the cattle grid on the unclassified single track road north east of Inverfarigaig and walked briefly north along the road which was obviously frequented by cattle. I then climbed onto the south-west ridge of Cnoc Cas-bhearnach and it was a pleasant walk to the summit of this Tump. The return was by the ascent route.
