Leschangie Hill: Parked near the end of the unclassified road, accessed off the B994 Kemnay to Kintore Road, and walked west along the road passed some houses and an office building. A path then led through the trees and at its highpoint I left it and walked through some rough vegetation and trees to the summit of this Tump which appeared to be located at the quarry edge. The return was by the upward route.
Cot-town Hill: From the unclassified Burnhervie to Blairdaff Road, south- west of Inverurie, path into the forest then round to the south-west side of this Tump. I then worked my way through the fir trees to reach the trig point located in a small area of open ground. The return was by the approach route.
Hill of Ardtannes: This Tump was located just to the west of Inverurie and was approached via a path from the unclassified road to the south-west of the hill. This path led through the trees and to the summit area where I wandered around a bit although the highpoint appeared to be just before an old stone dyke. The return was by the upward route.
Knockinglews: Parked east of Newbigging on the unclassified road west of Inverurie and walked west along this road almost to another car park which I could have used. Here I left the road and headed north up a vehicle track at the side of a ploughed field. At the top end of the field entered the forest where areas had been harvested. Used work tracks, crossed brash and fallen trees to reach a rock which marked the summit of this Tump. The return was by the ascent route.
Hill of Whitecross: From the bend in the unclassified road east of Blairbowie, accessed from west of Inverurie, walked west along the vehicle track to the north side of the buildings. Accessed a field where fir trees were grown for the Xmas market, crossed this field then a deer fence, dyke and barbed wire fence to reach the highpoint of this Tump which was in a grassy field. Returned by ascent route although by-passed the buildings by staying in the field of fir trees.
Pitscurry Hill: Left my vehicle on the unclassified road east of Whiteford and walked north to the vacant farmhouse at Pitscurry. I then crossed a field of stubble, entered a woodland consisting of mainly small trees and bracken to reach the obvious summit of this Tump. The return was by the upward route.
Hill of Loanhead: Parked at the cemetery north of Daviot and walked through the well spaced trees to the summit of this Tump. The return was by the approach route.
