From the village of Monymusk in Aberdeenshire, I walked down the private road to Monymusk House then briefly along the vehicle track on the west side of the River Don to reach the bridge over the river. Once beyond this the wooden construction, the vehicle track continued north passed the buildings at Enzean to Gallowhill Wood. Here I left the track and climbed through the trees and some open ground to the summit of the Tump, Gallow Hill.
I returned to the vehicle track and walked north-west to Delab Farm and to the unclassified Monymusk to Burnhervie Road. Here I crossed the River Don then walked along the path on the west side of the river and headed back to Monymusk.
