Creag Phitulais and Creag a’ Ghreusaich – From the Glen More Road, east of Coylumbridge and the B970, walked up the vehicle track to Achnahatnich Farm. Beyond, followed another track which soon came to an end then crossed some rough vegetation coming across a vehicle track which was not marked on my map. This track took me to below the Hump, Creag Phitulais, and then an awkward climb through bracken, heather and broom to gain the summit cairn.
After a break sheltering from the wind behind a dyke I descended south-east through heather and lots of broom to reach the col with Creag a’ Ghreusaich. It then involved a climb through long heather to reach the summit of this Tump where I visited a few possible high points.
The descent south-west took me through more heather and rough vegetation to reach the vehicle track beside Achnahatnich Farm then it was back to the start by the upward route.
Kennapole Hill and Creag Ghlas-uaine – Moved my car to south of Inshruich House on the B970 Inverdruie to Feshiebridge Road and parked at the entrance to the forest and from there walked along vehicle tracks then a path to the summit of the Hump, Kennapole Hill.
On returning to the start walked south on a vehicle track later leaving it and climbing through trees, some rough vegetation and brash to reach the North-East Top of Creag Ghlas-uaine . A short descent took me to a path that wound its way onto the summit of the Tump, Creag Ghlas-uaine, where I visited a few high points amongst some harvested timber. The return was by the ascent route.
