We parked at the entrance to the Resipole Camp and Caravan Site on the north side of the A861 Strontian to Salen Road, walked round the reception area and shop, then followed the signposted route for Beinn Resipol. This led into and through a wood and despite the recent dry spell of weather some wet and boggy ground.
The route passed through a couple of gates in a deer fence then it was up the south bank of the Allt Mhic Chiarain.
Beyond its gully I parted company with my walking companions and headed towards Lochan Bac an Lochain while they ascended Beinn Resipol via the Glac Gharbh. P
rior to reaching this lochan I ascended a gully, crossed over a knoll, and climbed to the summit of the Graham Top, Beinn an Albannaich, marked by a small cairn on top of a rock.
I descended to the east side of Lochan Bac an Lochain before commencing the ascent of Beinn Resipol via a grassy gully.
Higher up a few rocks were crossed or avoided but there were no real difficulties reaching the large summit cairn marking the summit of this Corbett.
Here I rejoined my walking companions and after an extended break descended via the Glac Gharbh and on reaching the Allt Mhic Chiarain retraced our outward route.
