Drum Hill: This Tump was located north of the A93 Aberdeen to Banchory Road north of Drumoak. I parked on the minor road north of Newton of Drum and walked east on a path through the trees. The path became overgrown but I came across a path system that led to the summit of Drum Hill. Used this path system to return to the minor road north of where I had left my car, a slightly longer but easier route.
Hill of Maryfield: From the minor road south-east of Banchory and south of this Tump, accessed from the B974 at the Bridge of Feugh, walked north along a vehicle track. Later I left this track and followed a path east through the trees but the path gradually disappeared. I then crossed a dilapidated fence to reach the summit of Hill of Maryfield. From there I descended south on a path then later a vehicle track to reach the minor road east of where I had parked.
Rhindbuckie: This Tump was located south-east of Banchory with my starting point for its ascent accessed along a minor road west of the A957 Banchory to Stonehaven Road and to the south-east of the hill. I left my car near West Mulloch and walked through the forest to a fire break which led to the summit of Rhindbuckie. The return was by the approach route.
Anguston Hill: Parked at the side of the minor road at Anguston, north-west of Peterculter, accessed from the A93 Aberdeen to Banchory Road, and walked west along a tarred road passed some houses. I then ascended this Tump where there was a concrete water tank. I then retraced my route back to the start.
Hill of Ord: This Tump was located on the western outskirts of Aberdeen and east of the B979 Peterculter to Westhill Road. I left my car at the side of the single track road east of Wester Ord and walked north on a path through the trees. I later crossed a dyke and fence then a stubble field to reach the summit of Hill of Ord. The return was by the upward route.
