Auchleven

Hill of Westfield: Parked at the side of the unclassified road east of the B992 at Auchleven, entered and crossed a stubble field to access an area of rough vegetation consisting mainly of gorse and broom. The highest point of this Tump wasn’t obvious so I wandered around a bit before returning by the upward route.

Hill of Newleslie: This Tump was located north-west of Leslie and west of the B992 at Auchleven. I made an attempt on climbing this hill from the unclassified road to the east but failed due to fencing and wild vegetation. Instead I parked in a small quarry area on the Auchleven to Clatt Road west of Cotetown and tried a direct ascent but was unsuccessful so walked through a couple of stubble fields then a field containing sheep. I followed a fence line north then west through an open gate to the summit of this Tump. Returned along the fence to Cotetown and to the road then walked back to the start.

Muir of Seggieden: This Tump was located south-east of Kennethmont so I parked near Ardlair Farm on the unclassified Leslie to Kennethmont Road then entered and  crossed a stubble field. I went round the edge of a copse of trees, over a sock fence and through a field of sheep to reach the standing stones marking the summit of Muir of Seggieden. The return was across a couple of fields containing sheep to the road just west of Ardlair Farm.

Hill of Glanderston: I parked in a stubble field at the start of the access road to New Finder Farm, accessed off the unclassified Leslie to Kennethmont Road and walked along the farm track passed the buildings and entered a stubble field. Once across it, a field containing sheep and a couple of barbed wire fences it was into a grassy field where the summit of this Tump was located. It was unmarked but appeared to be beside some gorse bushes. The return was by the upward route.
