Carn na Breabaig

Left the vehicle in the parking area west of Killilan, accessed along a single-track road from the A87 north-west of Dornie, and commenced the cycle up Glen Elchaig on a tarred road as far as the access to the house at Coille-righ.  The now stony surface passed a couple of agricultural buildings to a set of gates including one for pedestrians. The track, in reasonable condition with a few ups and downs, continued south-east later turning east then north-east above Loch na Leitreach to reach the unoccupied property at Carnach, then through Srath Duilleach and after 11 kilometres of cycling Iron Lodge where the bikes were left.

A short descent led to the bridge over Allt Doire Gairbhe and to Iron Lodge with its broken windows and open door.

A wet and boggy area alongside an old fence led to the Allt Sgart Lair Waterfall and the zigzag vehicle track rising on a steady gradient.

Higher up the gradient eased, passed a small lochan and onto the stony summit of this Graham. The highest point was marked by an outcrop.

Took shelter from the wind for a snack but the cloud lowered and the next rain shower arrived this one lasted a bit longer so necessitated navigating off the hill into the wind and rain. Lower down the rain ceased, the cloud lifted and the return to the bikes was by the upward route. The cycle out was into another shower of rain.
