Left the vehicle in the parking area west of Killilan, accessed along a single-track road from the A87 north-west of Dornie, and commenced the cycle up Glen Elchaig on a tarred road as far as the access to the house at Coille-righ. The now stony surface passed a couple of agricultural buildings, a herd of cows and calves, to a set of gates including one for pedestrians. The track, in reasonable condition with a few ups and downs, continued south-east later turning east then north-east above Loch na Leitreach to reach the unoccupied property at Carnach, then through Srath Duilleach and after 11 kilometres of cycling Iron Lodge where the bikes were left.

Walked north-east to a junction of tracks and took the right fork crossing the Am Cron-allt via a new bridge.

The now rough stony path rose above the Allt na Doire Gairbhe on a steeper gradient before levelling off and now mainly consisting of wet grass, bog and pools of water. It passed above the north side of Loch Mhoicean to reach the track’s highpoint.

Around 350 metres beyond this point and after a short descent crossed the Allt Coire nan Each onto a less obvious track which was wet and boggy in places.

With progress NNE the track became more apparent before leaving it around NH086343.
Climbed north-east across rough ground and a few gullies to a small knoll shown on the map.

A short dip was followed by a fairly steep climb on a grassy rake onto the summit of An Cruachan, the highest point of this Graham was marked by a cairn.

After a break commenced the long return route to the bikes then the cycle out dealing with some cows obstructing the track.
